The list of multiplayer servers in Minecraft: Java Edition.
The list of promoted servers in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
Minecraft includes a server list in the multiplayer game in which users can save the servers they visit.
In Java Edition, there is no predefined server list available directly in the game or on the Minecraft official site, but the standalone launcher of Java Edition does support adding servers in the Multiplayer section. It allows players to see if a server is online, how many available slots it has, and how good the player's connection (ping time) is to the server. Hovering over the connection status icon in the Minecraft server list indicates the speed of connection to the server.
When the multiplayer list is first loaded, the player receives a warning that the online game is not rated. If the player wishes not to see this again, they can press the checkbox that says "Do not show this notice again."
In Bedrock Edition, the server list contains a section for promoted servers that have partnered with Mojang Studios. In console versions, these are the only servers available, as there is no option to add unofficial servers.
Find unofficial servers
Various websites provide a place for server owners to publicly advertise their servers, listing IP addresses and information about those. There were two featured sites (both missing): the official Classic server list maintained by Mojang Studios, and the public server list on Minecraft Forum.
Organize servers
In Java Edition, servers are listed in a set order, which can be changed. To change the order in which the servers appear in the list, the player can hover over the server they wish to move and use the arrows to move the server up or down the list. Alternatively, the player can hold down ⇧ Shift and use the arrow keys.
In Bedrock Edition, the servers are always in order.
