Obtaining
Natural generation
Enchanted books can be found in chests in dungeons, fortresses, desert temples, jungle temples, and abandoned mines.
Fishing
Enchanted books can be "fished" as a kind of treasure. The book equates to a level 30 charm.
= Trade
Enchanted books can be bought from villagers as a level 1, 4 and 5 exchange, which means each will sell up to 3 books. Prices range from 5 to 64 emeralds, depending on the enchantment and the required level. It can contain enchantments of all levels.
In update 1.16 (Nether Update) they have been added to the Piglins, with which they can also be exchanged, but only with gold items.

An enchanted book can be created on an enchantment table by hand. The enchantment level is 1. Enchanted books can have up to 5 enchantments of any type.

To use one, the player must place the object in the first space of the anvil and the book in the next. To complete the enchantment it is necessary to have the required level of experience. It should be noted that this method is, although more tedious, more profitable. The books themselves can be combined with each other to create unique books with various high-level enchantments.
Enchanted books do not display their enchantments.

Enchanted Books can only be used with a limited set of items. In addition to the usual enchantments, certain enchantments can be applied that cannot be obtained at a table. Additionally, this method makes it possible to raise the "Sharp" and "Thorns" enchantments to the highest level, in addition to the following special enchantments:

Creative mode
In creative mode you can enchant any object with any type of enchantment. For example, a stick can be enchanted with silk touch and allow the player to successfully excavate a block of grass. This can still be used in survival mode without losing its enchantments.
If a block is enchanted, it will lose its attributes when placed.
