Obtaining
Coral Blocks can only be obtained with a Pickaxe enchanted with Touch of Silk; otherwise they will drop the respective dead coral block. Dead Coral Blocks can be obtained with any pickaxe.
Natural Generation
Coral Blocks and Dead Coral Blocks [Bedrock Edition only] are generated naturally in coral reef structures. These are found in warm oceans.
Uses
Coral blocks and their dead variants can be used as building blocks or decoration.
Dead coral blocks
For the coral blocks to stay alive, at least one of the surrounding blocks must be water. If placed out of the water, it will transform into its respective block of dead coral after a few seconds.
